Although not comparable to that of the winter of 1945, the snow that whitened Valmala made the atmosphere even more suggestive.
The mass in the Sanctuary was followed by the oration of Michela Boero, daughter of the partisan Angelo Boero Edelweiss . A personal and sincere speech in which she recalled the importance of being active protagonists of history. "We fought so that you could speak": Lelio Peirano King 's words echoed as a warning never to take for granted the values of freedom and democracy that have long been denied.

13 participants, aged 16 to 65, united by curiosity and the desire to experiment with new techniques. Ginevra and Arianna, two young designers from the Politecnico di Torino, coordinate the screenprinting and bookbinding activities.
A laboratory with low environmental impact but with high synergy: the participants brought some supports from home which they then customized at will. Similar products (Codirosso tote bags and notebooks) are available in the museum.

The Codirosso had the pleasure of hosting a group of almost 60 elderly people from different municipalities within the "older.com" project, an initiative supported by the CN1 ASL, the Cuneo Social-Welfare Consortium and Compagnia San Paolo .
In the morning the participants, divided into small groups, visited the museum, while in the afternoon the narration of the guides continued at the Sanctuary of Valmala, site of the homonymous massacre of March 6, 1945.
Inauguration of the new headquarters

The inauguration of the new headquarters in Palazzo Garro, and the official reopening of the museum after a year of closure due to the pandemic, took place during the 17th partisan party organized by Codirosso.
In addition to the Rossanesi, Riccardo's friends and the curious, also some authorities took part in the event: first of all the Municipality of Rossana, but also the Historical Institute of the Resistance of Cuneo and many ANPIs in the provinces of Cuneo and Turin.

On the occasion of the "Maggio dei Libri", an initiative promoted by the Center for Books and Reading, and by the Ministry of Culture, a series of events were organized, each one dedicated to the presentation of a book relating to the Resistance or the mountain territory.
The literary review , held in the Confraternita della Crusà, is organized by the Ecomuseo della Resistenza "Il Codirosso", in collaboration with the Municipality of Rossana and the Pro Loco of Rossana, the Unione Montana valle Varaita and the AIB Rossana.
